It's official

I am now a real youth minister with a real job and a permanent resident of Kansas City!! Whoo-hoo! I can't believe it, but all of the pieces have finally come together. After years of prayer, preparation, and a big step of faith, God has blessed me with my dream job. I really couldn't ask for a better situation to begin full time ministry. The news was announced tonight at church and I was showered with so much love. I am just so thankful and blessed. God is good my friends, God is good.

Congratulations! Welcome to the "I landed my dream job" club. Isn't God good?

Now, between K-State campus minister and Kansas City youth minister, I expect a partnership. I want to help any of your future K-State students really launch their adult faith and impact their campus. Also look me up if you would like to connect to any other state school missions. Don't let them go when they graduate!

YIPEE SKIPPY!!!!!! I am so excited for you! And I'm so glad that you get to stay where you know the kids and parents already ... what a blessing. I'm SURE that they are all so thrilled that you are there to stay!

Now what? Will you get an apartment or house? I can't believe you'll be a permanent Kansas resident!

And a funny thought to me ... I was thinking the other day about our reunion last year and about how so much has changed in just a year. It made me laugh. Can you believe it all? I think I'm the only one who didn't have MAJOR life changes happen!!!! ;) I just love you girls so much...

I was waiting to call until your summer was dying down a little ... but now you just have so much more to do! I guess I'll just take my chances sooner than later. Love you!
