May 1st, the due date of my final paper! That's right, all of my papers are in!

I'm still awake. Now, I realize that it is not THAT late yet, but I'm much closer to being awake than asleep. Maybe this is God's way of telling me that I need to study some more Greek before I call it a night.

A couple of things happened to me today.
First, I got an email about an additional scholarship available to ministry students. I need all the money I can get, so I started reading the application for it. It turns out that this nice family who donated the money for the scholarship only wants the money to go to a MALE ministry student. Ouch, that hurts. That's pretty discouraging.
Second, I got a letter in the mail from my dear friend Emily Lemley. She is the editor for Power for Today, a Christian mailout thing. She wants me to write a couple of articles for this little magazine. I realize that just about anyone can write articles for this and it's not that big of a deal, but it's really nice to be asked. That's pretty affirming.

I think that's awesome that you were asked to write articles! Just be sure not to use the kind of language that protrudes out of your mouth during Greek. Come to think of it, don't bring up the topics either.

Wait go, its wonderful to be asked to write something! I can't wait to read it. And don't let the scholarship thing worry you, I have had face to face experiences where people thought I was in wrong for being a female and in ministry.
